San Borondón est une île mythique qui apparaît et disparaît. Tout au long de l'histoire, elle est apparue sur des cartes dans les environs des Îles Canaries. La légende de l'île de San Borondón est devenue si répandue qu'au cours des XVIe, XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles, des expéditions ont été organisées pour la trouver et la conquérir. Après des siècles d'oubli, elle a finalement été retrouvée.
