After directing their first film Allée des Signes in 1976, Gisèle and Luc MEICHLER set up their own production structure and continue to make their films independently. They were part of the Coopérative des Cinéastes and co-founded KMP before joining Light Cone at the end of 1980. They work on several axes, from essay, experimental, art or documentary films. Gisèle Rapp-Meichler is the president of Light Cone.
