Christophe Guérin has produced around twenty films which circulate in the festival circuit and exhibition venues. His practice as a filmmaker revolves around two main axes:
The practice of found-footage: it gives rise to various speculations on film material as in Chez Sacha (2006), Las Vegas Shadows (2009), Romance sans Paroles (2013), Caprice (2019), Mauvais jour (2022)…
The landscape approach; rural with Pas à Pas (2007), port with Le Havre: port (2008), urban with Cross (2014), maritime finally, with his film Fendre les Flots (2016), which is his first documentary essay. Some of his films have been included in the collections of MuMa (Le Havre) and FRAC Normandie.
Very involved in the promotion of experimental cinema, he founded the association Elu par cet crapule (1992-2015) which organized hundreds of screenings, meetings, performances and workshops in Normandy and since 2010 has offered monthly programming at the MuMa (Museum Malraux Le Havre) as part of the MuMaBoX sessions.
